Trouble Shooting And FAQ
Before you call please try the following to see if it helps to get you back on track. It maybe something simple that can be fixed with by trying the following steps
If the machine has no power then please check the following:

Check if the power cords are securely in the correct electrical outlet.

Check if there is power at the wall socket by testing another electrical item in the same socket.

Check the power cords have the proper connection by firmly pushing the power cord into the rear of the concentrator.
If your Concentrator still has issues and it is not a power related issue please do the following:

Disconnect oxygen tubing. If the flow is restored, replace tubing.

Set the flow meter to your prescribed rate by turning the knob left or right on the machine.

Remove any items that could be kinking or trapping the oxygen flow.

Ensure there is adequate ventilation by removing the machine away from the walls, furniture and curtains.
If these steps fail then please turn the concentrator off, connect to a backup oxygen supply and call Heeson Medical on (07) 3262 5506 (Emergency 24 hours)
In case of Fire
Once a fire has been discovered, follow normal emergency procedures and call the local fire service. Inform the fire department of any cylinders inside the premises. If cylinders have been damaged in the fire they should NOT be used. Contact Heeson Medical to arrange replacement cylinders.
If a leak should occur, it will be evident by a hissing noise. You should check that all connectors are firmly tightened and all tubing has no kinks or splits. Tubing should be replaced if necessary. However if the hissing noise is still present then contact Heeson Medical for assistance.
WARNING: Never attempt to fix/repair leaks yourself. DO NOT use sealing or joining compounds.
After Hours Assistance
Heeson medical operates during normal business hours of Monday to Friday 7 AM to 5 PM. Heeson Medical also has a 24 hour CONCENTRATOR emergency service available should you require.
